Current Speakers

HG O’Connell is the Assistant Content Director of Shoptalk and Groceryshop. She plays a key role in developing the agenda and selecting speakers for both events. She frequently owns Shoptalk content that addresses marketing, digital, e-commerce, sustainability, health and wellness, and professional development. She is also the Content Lead for Shoptalk Meetup for Women.

HG joined Shoptalk in April 2019. Previously, she worked in event programming for art institutions such as the New Museum of Contemporary Art and the National Academy of Design. She graduated from Hamilton College and comes to New York from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia.
