Peter Chen is the CEO and co-founder of Covariant, the world’s leading AI Robotics company. Covariant is building universal AI that allows robots to see, reason, and act on the world around them. Before founding Covariant, Peter was a research scientist at OpenAI and a researcher at the Berkeley AI Research (BAIR) Lab, where he focused on reinforcement learning, meta-learning, and unsupervised learning. Peter has published more than 30 academic papers that have appeared in top AI and machine learning conferences including the Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NIPS), the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML), and the International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR).
