The Business of Fashion

Sheena Butler-Young is a senior correspondent at The Business of Fashion and leads the magazine's coverage of workplace, talent and culture. She is the former deputy editor of Footwear News and, during the past eight years, has broken some of the fashion industry's biggest business stories — including Adidas' diversity and inclusion uprising and the Payless bankruptcy. She has interviewed some of fashion’s most influential executives — from Nike to Nordstrom — as well as designers and influencers, including Katy Perry, Idris Elba, Christian Louboutin and Jessica Simpson.

Her coverage scope has included the financial performance of publicly traded fashion and retail companies, diversity and inclusion, sustainability and executive leadership best practices.
